Bio

Lauren Reamy has 16 years of U.S. Senate experience, most recently as Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director to now U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. She has served as Professional Staff on the Senate Committees on Commerce, Science and Transportation and Judiciary.  Lauren’s institutional knowledge, sound judgment and ability to grasp complicated issues has led to the implementation of key laws and initiatives.

During her ten years advising Senator Rubio, he was ranked the most effective U.S. Senator, compiling numerous legislative victories that benefited Americans and American industry.  As Legislative Director, Lauren was responsible for Senator Rubio’s policy initiatives and priorities that spanned across all Congressional committees.

Prior to her tenure serving Florida’s senior Senator, Lauren was a Director of Government Affairs for the Motion Picture Association of America, where she represented the six major motion picture studios before Congress and the administration. She also served on the Senate Committee on the Judiciary, working for now Chairman Charles Grassley (R-IA), then Ranking Member Jeff Sessions (R-AL) and then Chairman Arlen Specter (R-PA).

Lauren was born and raised in the Sunshine State, graduating from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Political Science, cum laude.  An avid equestrian, Lauren competes with her American Paint Horse, Mack.
