Bio
Jay Sulzmann is a 15-year Capitol Hill veteran and a trusted advisor on tax, health care, trade, and economic policy. With experience on both the Senate Finance and House Ways & Means Committees, he is widely respected for his policy expertise and keen understanding of the political landscape.
As Legislative Director for Sen. Johnny Isakson, Jay played a pivotal role in shaping major legislation, including the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017, and key initiatives in health care, trade, energy, infrastructure, agriculture, and veterans’ affairs. He previously served as Senior Policy Advisor to Rep. Wally Herger, contributing to tax and health policy debates during the Affordable Care Act’s passage. Jay earned his B.A. in political science and international studies from Rhodes College, graduating magna cum laude.
